Dan Dee International Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
Dan Dee International, LLC (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, retain, and disclose personal information in connection with our website at https://dandeeint.com/ (our “Site”).
Our Site is an informational website that provides information about the Company and our brands and products. Our Site does not sell products and does not support online ordering, guest checkout, customer accounts, or a wholesale, trade, or business-to-business ordering portal.
This policy applies to personal information we collect through the Site, including information you submit through our contact, inquiry, and job-application forms and information collected automatically as described below. It does not apply to:
- Information collected by us offline or through any other means that does not link to this policy; or
- Any third-party website, platform, or service, including any social media platform on which we maintain a presence. Those third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
We operate internationally, including offices and manufacturing partners in the United States, Hong Kong, and mainland China, and personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in those and other countries (see “International Data Transfers” below). To the extent we process the personal information of individuals located in California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the region-specific sections at the end of this policy also apply to you.
Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to This Privacy Policy), so please check it periodically for updates.
Children’s and Minors’ Data
Our Site provides general information about our company and products and may be viewed by anyone. However, our Site is not directed to children, and it does not offer any product purchasing, account creation, or other interactive features aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, and we have no age-gating because no purchasing or account functionality is available on the Site. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information through the “Contact Us” feature, please contact us using the information in the “Contact Information” section below, and we will delete that information.
The Personal Information We Collect
“Personal information” is information that identifies, relates to, or describes, directly or indirectly, an individual. Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact and business information — your name, company name, job title, email address, telephone number, and mailing address, and any information you include when you complete a contact, wholesale, or licensing inquiry form or otherwise correspond with us.
- Business and trade information — details about your company, purchasing needs, or retail, vendor, or licensing relationship when you inquire about becoming a customer, vendor, or licensing partner.
- Job-application information — information you provide if you apply for a position through the Site, such as your background and the contents of your application.
- Automatically collected information — technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and dates and times of access, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” below).
- Information from third parties — information we may receive from business partners, trade-show organizers, or publicly available sources, which we may combine with information we collect through the Site.
Because the Site does not sell products or process payments, we do not collect payment card or financial-account information or account login credentials through the Site. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information or biometric information.
How We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information in three ways: (1) directly from you, when you complete a contact, wholesale, licensing, or job-application form or otherwise correspond with us; (2) automatically, through cookies and similar technologies, as described below; and (3) from third parties, such as business partners, trade-show organizers, and publicly available sources.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Site may use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Site, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and support analytics. The specific technologies we use, and whether we use them for analytics or advertising, may change over time, and we will update this policy as our practices change.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Site functions. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to DNT signals, our Site may not respond to them; where required by applicable law, we will honor GPC signals as a valid request to opt out of applicable processing.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- Respond to and follow up on your inquiries, requests, and applications;
- Communicate with current and prospective retail customers, vendors, licensing partners, and other business contacts about our brands, products, and business relationships;
- Process and evaluate job applications;
- Analyze Site usage and trends;
- Protect against fraud, unauthorized access, and other liabilities; and
- Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements and policies.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. We do not use your personal information to train machine learning or large language models.
Marketing Communications
We may send business communications to retailers, vendors, and prospective partners in connection with their inquiries and our business relationship. Our consumer-facing marketing is conducted primarily through social media and influencer campaigns on third-party platforms, and any information those platforms collect is governed by their own privacy policies, not by this policy. If we send you marketing or promotional messages, we will provide a way to opt out, and you may contact us at any time to stop receiving them.
How We Disclose Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We may share personal information as follows:
- Service providers. With service providers that perform functions on our behalf — such as website hosting, IT support, analytics, email delivery, and customer relationship management (CRM) providers — who are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us and are bound by contract to protect it and keep it confidential;
- Affiliates and business partners. With our affiliated companies and business partners, including our offices and manufacturing partners in the United States, Hong Kong, and mainland China, for legitimate business purposes;
- Professional advisors. With professional advisors, such as legal, accounting, and other consultants;
- Legal and safety. To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to a government or regulatory request, and to enforce our agreements or protect the rights, property, or safety of our company or others; and
- Business transfers. To a buyer or successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale or transfer of some or all of our assets.
International Data Transfers
We operate internationally, including offices and manufacturing partners in the United States, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Personal information we collect may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than the one in which you are located, including the United States, and those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where we transfer personal information subject to the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss law out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we rely on an appropriate transfer safeguard as described in the region-specific section below.
Your State Privacy Rights
Some states, including California, have consumer privacy laws that give residents certain rights over their personal information. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Depending on your state of residency, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- Correct inaccuracies in the personal information we maintain about you;
- Delete the personal information we maintain about you, subject to exceptions under applicable law; and
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising and profiling. We do not engage in any of these activities.
The exact scope of these rights, and the exceptions to them, vary by state. To exercise any right that applies to you, contact us using the information in the “Contact Information” section below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. We may ask you for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before responding to your request.
We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under Nevada, California, or other state privacy laws.
Additional Notice for California Residents
This section provides additional information required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), and supplements the rest of this policy.
Categories of personal information we collect. In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information under the CCPA: identifiers (such as name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and IP address); commercial or professional/employment information (such as company name, job title, business/trade details, and job-application information); and internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing and usage information collected through cookies). We collect this information directly from you, automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from third parties such as business partners and publicly available sources. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information.
Purposes. We use this information for the business purposes described in “How We Use Your Information” above.
Sale, sharing, and disclosure. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We disclose personal information for business purposes only to service providers and contractors that perform functions on our behalf (such as website hosting, IT, email, and CRM providers) and in the other limited circumstances described in “How We Disclose Your Information” above. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit.
Your California privacy rights. Subject to exceptions under the CCPA, California residents have the right to:
- Know and access the specific pieces and categories of personal information we have collected about them, the sources, the purposes, and any third parties to whom we disclose it;
- Delete personal information we have collected from them;
- Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which we do not do;
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information — which we do not collect; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights. To submit a request, contact us using the information in the “Contact Information” section below. We will verify your request using the information you provide, and you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We do not use automated decision-making technology.
Additional Notice for Individuals in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland (GDPR)
This section applies to the extent we process the personal data of individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland and are therefore subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.
Controller. Dan Dee International, LLC is the controller responsible for your personal data.
Personal data and purposes. We process the categories of personal data described in “The Personal Information We Collect” above, and only for the purposes described in “How We Use Your Information” above.
Legal bases for processing. We rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests — to respond to and follow up on your inquiry and to manage our business and retailer relationships, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Consent — where you voluntarily choose to provide your information by contacting us; and
- Legal obligation — where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
Recipients. We may share your personal data with service providers that process it on our behalf (acting as our processors), such as website hosting, IT, email, and customer relationship management (CRM) providers, and with authorities or other parties where required by law or to protect our rights. These processors are bound by contract to process your personal data only on our instructions and to protect it.
International transfers. We store and process personal data in the United States and may transfer it to our affiliates and service providers in other countries, including Hong Kong and mainland China. If you contact us from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, your personal data will be transferred outside those regions. Where required, we rely on an appropriate safeguard for the transfer, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, as applicable).
Retention and security. We retain and protect your personal data as described in the “How We Retain Your Personal Information” and “How We Protect Your Personal Information” sections above.
Your rights. Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access your personal data; request correction (rectification); request erasure; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; and, where we rely on consent, withdraw that consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
How to exercise your rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in the “Contact Information” section below.
How We Protect Your Personal Information
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect the personal information we collect from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Where we use service providers to process personal information on our behalf, we require them by contract to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security measures and to retain the information only as long as needed to provide services to us. However, no website or electronic transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or through the Site. In particular, email messages sent to or from the Site may not be secure, so please use care in deciding what information you send to us. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.
How We Retain Your Personal Information
We do not maintain a fixed retention schedule. We keep the contact information you submit only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, to maintain the business or retailer relationship for which you contacted us, and to meet our legal and business needs. When we no longer need the information for these purposes, we delete or discard it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date the policy was last updated is identified at the top of the page. We will notify you of changes by updating the “last updated” date and posting the revised policy on the Site. Please check the Site periodically to review the current policy.
